Dr. James Quinn

Dr. James Quinn has over 10 years of experience delivering designs and tests in the mechanical engineering and polymer sectors. He also has vast experience within the UK temporary works sector including safety & debris nets, safety decking, scaffolding & building accesses.

Dr. Quinn is part of The University of Edinburgh's MATTERS Group, where he is a Research Associate in Composite Design and Testing. He is specialised in the fields of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding performance, multifunctional materials, non-destructive testing, mechanics of composites, fracture mechanics and repair of polymers and polymer-composites.
